Sasha Solodukhina studied film at Wesleyan University and currently lives in New Orleans. She has produced a number of short films and music videos, and was the lead producer on Nick Singer’s Other Months, which premiered at SXSW in 2014 and went on to play at BAMcinemaFest and the New Orleans Film Festival. She was an Associate Producer for Yolonda Ross’s short film “Breaking Night,” which went on to become the official music video for Manfred Mann’s “Blinded by the Light” and is on rotation on VH1 Classics. While at Wesleyan, she was awarded several grants to interview young activists working to overthrow the dictatorship in Belarus, and was selected as the 2010-11 recipient of the Fotokem Student Filmmaker Grant to aid the completion of her 16mm thesis. She is currently producing Ross's debut feature, and finishing post-production on her short film, “How To Disappear Completely.” She is also the International Crowdfunding Coordinator and New Orleans Chapter Leader for the collective, Film Fatales.
